Job summary

CSI Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Lighting Support Specialist to provide technical and logistical support for lighting across multiple construction projects. You will review, release, track, and deliver lighting fixtures and controls aligned with project schedules and company standards.

You will coordinate with preconstruction, project management, procurement, warehouse, and field teams to maintain documentation integrity and drive efficient lighting operations on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and construction documentation preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lighting take-offs and compare quantities against project estimates.
• Review lighting fixture submittals for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with lighting controls submittals, procurement, and tracking.
• Support detailing efforts including driver quantities, LED lengths, and related components.
• Coordinate and maintain lighting documentation including submittals and shop drawings.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure documentation meets standards.
• Coordinate releases with vendors based on project schedules.
• Build and maintain trackers for procurement, delivery, and jobsite needs.
• Support warehouse receiving and check-in processes for lighting materials.
• Coordinate lighting material movement from vendors to CSI facilities and jobsites.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Estimating, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Field Operations to resolve issues.
• Serve as liaison between vendors and internal teams on schedules and technical questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
