Job summary

SESC Lighting, Inc. in New York State seeks a technical resource for sales teams and customers to perform point-by-point photometric analysis using eLUME and AGI32 and provide lighting fixture selections with timely, accurate layouts.

You will develop lighting models, discuss data from product sheets, understand lighting codes, maintain records, and stay current with SESCO’s full product offering while assisting customers and attending training sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience in photometry.
• Proficient in IES lighting fundamentals, light sources, optics, and luminaire performance.
• Expertise in AGI32, eLUME, and Revit.
• Ability to read architectural and electrical drawings and fixture schedules.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide lighting product performance information to internal and external customers.
• Provide proper and efficient computer lighting models to assist customers.
• Discuss technical data from product sheets.
• Understand lighting code information.
• Maintain documentation/records for tracking and reference data.
• Maintain product knowledge across the full SESCO product offering.
• Attend product-training sessions when available.
• Assist customers when called upon.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
