Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced hardware engineer to drive end-to-end development of automotive exterior lighting systems, including headlamps, signaling lamps, and rear combination lamps; system-level power architectures and LED driver strategies; EMI, thermal, and cost constraints; ASIL QM/A/B functional safety; CAN-FD/LIN integration.

You will perform worst‑case circuit analysis, derating, thermal and reliability analysis (DFMEA, MTBF) to ensure production readiness

Qualifications

• End-to-end development of hardware for automotive exterior lighting systems.
• Experience with system-level power architectures and LED driver strategies.
• Understanding of EMI, thermal, and cost constraints in automotive hardware.
• Knowledge of ASIL QM/A/B functional safety concepts and CAN-FD/LIN integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform worst-case circuit analysis, derating, thermal and reliability analysis (DFMEA, MTBF).
• Drive pre-compliance and compliance EMC testing.
• Resolve conducted and radiated emission issues through layout, filtering and architectural changes.

End‑to‑end hardware development for automotive exterior lighting systems including headlamps, signaling lamps, and rear combination lamps.

System‑level power architectures and LED driver strategies (linear vs switching) under tight EMI, thermal, and cost constraints,

ASIL QM/A/B functional safety,

CAN-FD/LIN integration

Performing worst‑case circuit analysis, derating, thermal and reliability analysis (DFMEA, MTBF) to ensure production readiness.

Driving pre‑compliance and compliance EMC testing,

resolving conducted and radiated emission issues through layout, filtering, and architectural changes.
