Job summary

Tiltedge Solutions is seeking an automotive exterior lighting hardware and power electronics engineer to drive end-to-end hardware development for headlamps, signaling lamps, and rear combination lamps in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

The role covers system level power architectures, EMI/thermal constraints, ASIL QM/A/B functional safety, CAN-FD/LIN, and pre-compliance EMC testing, with focus on reliability, MTBF and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• End to end hardware development for automotive exterior lighting systems including headlamps, signaling lamps, and rear combination lamps.
• System level power architectures and LED driver strategies (linear vs switching) under tight EMI, thermal, and cost constraints.
• ASIL QM/A/B functional safety.
• CAN-FD/LIN integration
• Performing worst case circuit analysis, derating, thermal and reliability analysis (DFMEA, MTBF) to ensure production readiness.
• Driving pre compliance and compliance EMC testing.
• Resolving conducted and radiated emission issues through layout, filtering, and architectural changes.
