Job summary

Lighting Practice is seeking a Senior Lighting Designer to lead diverse exterior, façade, and interior lighting projects. You’ll work with a Principal and fellow designers to drive schematic design through Construction Administration, guiding clients and consultants along the way.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating statuses and billing, supporting business development, and traveling to sites with the team. A degree and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in architectural lighting design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Collaborative decision-making and teamwork.
• Flexible problem-solving in evolving environments.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for quick response and implement innovative design solutions.
• Influence team members to collaborate in design and decision-making.
• Delegate tasks with follow-up for timely results.
• Coordinate project status, labor projection and monthly billing with Principals.
• Assist in proposals and business development and promote the Lighting Practice brand.
• Travel to client meetings and project sites.
