WSP USA invites undergraduate or graduate students to join as a Lighting Intern in our Boston office. This temporary, 12-week summer internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real projects under senior staff mentorship.

Interns learn basic Lighting Design principles, perform simple calculations, and assist in design documents and fixture selection. The program runs from May 19, 2025, with flexible start dates and no relocation housing provided.

Formación

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering or related undergraduate program with anticipated graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Interest in Lighting or related field and desire to advance skills for WSP projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Able to take direction from leadership and mentors to execute projects.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and tools.
• Authorization to work in the United States at internship start.

Responsabilidades

• Learn basic principles of Lighting Design.
• Collaborate with design team members to develop design.
• Perform basic lighting calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of design documents.
• Assist in selecting and specifying lighting fixtures.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and policies.
