TriMet is seeking a skilled LRV Technician to conduct maintenance and repairs on light rail vehicles. This full-time role entails inspecting subsystems, adhering to safety protocols, and requires expertise in electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in rail vehicle maintenance and a commitment to in-person collaboration.
Join TriMet as a LRV Technician! This position will perform preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on light rail vehicles (LRVs), including LRV subsystems and components, for LRV types, including timed contractor DC propulsion technology and state-of-the-art AC propulsion microprocessor-driven technology.
Five (5) days per week onsite are required.
Reliable in-person attendance is an essential function of all positions. TriMet is an in-person first organization, with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration, customer service, and safe and efficient operations. Some positions may be able to work up to two days remotely depending on department policy, business needs, and manager discretion.

Union, Non-Exempt, Full-time, wage $43.83/hr effective December 1, 2024, in accordance with the current agreement.
