Role Overview

This position operates under varying levels of supervision to assist in the successful processing of incoming raw materials and components. As a QA Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating incoming components and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and inspection protocols by utilizing standard procedures, specialized tools, and technical equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute documentation tasks in strict compliance with cGMP and GDP standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of diverse components and finished goods to guarantee they align with part specifications or technical drawings.
• Utilize a variety of measurement instruments, such as calipers, scales, thickness and force gauges, optical comparators, and other systems to ensure product quality.
• Verify printed materials against master documents to identify any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Manufacturing teams to facilitate the release and transfer of materials and components.
• Ensure the IQA Inspection Area remains clean and well-organized.
• Manage the filing and duplication of records to support long-term retention requirements.
• Oversee the inventory levels of the IQA office to ensure necessary supplies are always available.
• Complete additional tasks as required by management.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma with a preference for 1-2 years of quality assurance experience, or an Associate Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
• Demonstrate the ability to maintain precise documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
• Show the capacity to follow instructions, work autonomously, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Maintain proficiency in computer operations and the ability to navigate multiple software systems.
• Exhibit strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Uphold a high standard of personal integrity and professional self-control.
• Maintain the physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and move freely throughout a large manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrate a willingness to accept guidance and constructive feedback to improve team performance.

Compensation and Schedule

This role offers a pay rate of $27.20 per hour with the potential for occasional overtime. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm CST.
