Job summary

RRD/PCA in Timonium, Maryland is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist to operate offline and finishing equipment, set up and adjust machines for production runs, and maintain tools for optimal operation on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with routine procedures, capable of basic clerical tasks, and able to identify improper operation and perform basic adjustments to keep equipment running smoothly. EEO guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• Familiar with routine operating procedures of equipment that can be set up and operated following a few step-by-step instructions.
• Ability to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to operation and maintenance records.
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment
• Set up and adjust machine and equipment for production runs
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation
• Troubleshoot issues and submit maintenance requests as needed
• Coordinate crewmember assignments and train new team members
