Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience operating equipment including forklifts, wheel loaders, bobcats, stationary balers or shears required.
• Must lift 30-50 lbs and 100+ lbs with a two-person lift.
• Interact with customers and vendors; be willing to learn, adaptable and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Inspects equipment, ensure safety and working condition.
• Loads, unloads and sorts material.
• Inspects materials to quality standards.
• Knows quality standards and material grades; assess loadability.
• Operates yard equipment such as forklift, shag truck, skid steer, wheel loader, baler or shear as needed.
• Performs basic maintenance on machinery.
• Other duties as assigned; follows safety standards and PPE rules.
