Job summary

RR Donnelley in the United States is seeking a 3rd shift Production operator to run offline binding, finishing and packaging equipment. You will set up machines for production runs and ensure optimal operation.

The role requires knowledge of standard set ups and the ability to adjust equipment per job requirements. Training new team members and coordinating crew assignments may be part of the job.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment. Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation. May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed

Additional Information

In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential $2 more for 2nd shift, $3 more for 3rd shift call-in, and stand-by pay.
