Job summary

RRD in Pittsburgh is seeking a 1st shift machine operator to lead a small crew in a light industrial setting. You will operate equipment, monitor output, and ensure safety and quality while meeting production goals.

You will train crew, schedule tasks, log safety audits, and communicate with supervisors. The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related manufacturing/production experience.
• Basic computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and lead a production crew to meet goals.
• Train and develop crew members; delegate assignments.
• Monitor product quality and adjust processes to reduce waste.
• Maintain records: safety audits, packages per hour, labor hours per thousand and other logs.
