Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 12th grade basic education completed.
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving a vehicle under 26,001 lbs; 3–5 years preferred.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License required.
• Forklift licensing process completed.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives on the road delivering products in various weather conditions.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection sheets.
• Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating conditions and checks oil and fuel.
• Secures load and ensures proper loading and paperwork accuracy.
• Maintains driving records, logs, and shipping documents as required.
• Performs preventive maintenance and keeps the truck clean.
• Communicates with base or supervisor to receive instructions and dispatches.
• Completes paperwork and may operate a forklift to load/unload trailers.
• Follows forklift rules and company policies.
• Participates in safety and other company programs and meetings.
