Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Duluth, MN is seeking a dependable forklift operator to move materials within our warehouse and yard. You will load/unload trucks, transport items to storage or production areas, and verify inventory with proper documentation.

Daily inspections and strict adherence to safety policies are required. Minimum high school diploma with 1–2 years of warehouse experience; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Certification for forklift operation preferred.
• Basic computer or handheld device skills for inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach, pallet jack) to move materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas.
• Verify and maintain accurate inventory counts through proper handling and documentation.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
