Light Duty Tow Truck Driver - Night Shift

Join Guardian Fleet Services as a Light Duty Tow Truck Driver - Night Shift.

This role involves driving a commercial towing and recovery vehicle with a GVWR of less than 25,999 lbs. and requires a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle and towing combination.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $15.00/hr to $40.00/hr, with sign-on bonuses of $1,500 in-state and $2,500 out-of-state.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, professional customer service
• Drive and perform towing, recovery, and transport duties, including interstate travel
• Coordinate closely with Dispatch
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
• Follow all safety, DOT, and regulatory requirements
• Utilize software such as Samsara, GPS, and Tow book
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Trade school certification in Towing, Recovery, or Transport (preferred)
• Minimum of two years of related commercial driving experience
• Basic mechanical skills and tool proficiency

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift over 50 lbs, perform physical activities such as crawling, pulling, bending, climbing, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
