New Brighton Ford in New Brighton is seeking Full Time Maintenance Technicians for our Quicklane facility. No experience is required; we will train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow, with the potential to advance to a Diagnostic Technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Motivated to learn and train for auto maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform routine maintenance.
• Install oil drain plug and oil filter.
• Check tire pressure and inflate as needed.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Perform brakes, suspensions, and alignments.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Change oil


• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter


• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation


• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary


• Complete vehicle inspection


• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed


• Perform regular vehicle maintenance like brakes, struts, shocks and alignments


• Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred but will we train the right candidate


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination


• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills


• Excellent customer service skillsBasic computer competencies


• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality


• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment


• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively


• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
