Job summary

Kerry Brothers Truck Repair is seeking a motivated Light Duty Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of gasoline and diesel light-duty vehicles. The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a full-time daytime schedule.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, be reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced shop environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive or light-heavy vehicle repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and software to support repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain gasoline and diesel light-duty vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes and fluid services.
• Repair brake, suspension, steering, electrical systems and HVAC components.
• Replace parts such as timing components, belts, and pumps as needed.
• Document repairs accurately in the shop management system.
• Communicate repair recommendations with service advisors and customers.
