Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Light Duty Equipment Repair Employee near Tucson, AZ. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes and related systems, with opportunities to perform welding and operate forklifts and cranes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Light Duty Equipment maintenance or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read and use schematics.
• This role may require passing a written assessment on skills and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, replace and repair engines, transmissions, axles, brakes and motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil, coolant, filters and belts.
• May perform welding tasks such as Carbon Arc and MIG.
• Operate forklifts, cranes and light mobile equipment.
• Maintain Work Orders and keep a clean, safe work area.
