Qualifications

• Four or more years in light duty mechanical/maintenance crafts including welding or related fields.
• Ability to pass a written assessment on safety and technical knowledge.
• Ability to understand and apply safety procedures in English.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication and fluid service.
• Mentor other workers and act as Fill-In Supervisor as needed.
• Perform welding using Carbon arc and MIG processes.
• Operate equipment like forklifts or cranes as required.
• Prioritize repairs to ensure safe production.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and complete work orders.
