Guardian Fleet Services seeks a Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our roadside team in Jacksonville, TX. You will operate flatbeds and wheel-lift tow trucks, perform pre/post trips, and deliver calm, professional service in high-stress situations.

The role requires a valid driver's license (CDL not required), readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a strong focus on safety and customer care. A $1,500 sign-on bonus in-state and $2,500 out-of-state is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (Class E); CDL not required.
• 2 years of CMV experience preferred.
• Local residency.
• HazMat or air brake endorsements and CMV experience listed as preferred.
• Ability to operate tow equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Position Summary

As the face of the company on the roadside, the driver delivers professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service, turning stressful situations into smooth, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light‑duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel‑lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Preferred experience examples: commercial motor vehicles over 10K GVW, package delivery style, Oil or Fuel delivery
• Local Residency
• Mechanical aptitude, Haz Mat or air brake endorsements and CMV experience listed as preferred.
• Ability to operate tow equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, pull, and carry 50–75 lbs. regularly (dollies, tie‑downs, toolboxes, vehicle parts).
• Operate winches, levers, and manual controls requiring upper‑body strength.
• Push or maneuver disabled vehicles in tight spaces when necessary.
• Perform repeated bending, kneeling, climbing, and crouching during loading and service tasks.
