Description

Job Summary:

Prepares parts for braze by nickel blasting and braze alloy application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies braze paste to parts ensuring a uniform application.
• Deburrs parts as needed.
• Properly packages parts to prevent damage during transportation to the next operation.
• Identifies defects in parts (scratches, dents, metal thinning, poor finish) and reports them to the Supervisor.
• Performs preventive maintenance on heat treat equipment in coordination with Maintenance Department.
• Works under general supervision.
• Follows Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements for heat treat operations.
• Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Completes all required documentation accurately.
• Adheres to attendance policies.
• Assists team members as needed to contribute to team effort.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED.

Language Skills:

Ability to read English, understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective communication with employees and stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with decimals and fractions.

Reasoning Ability:

Uses judgment to follow instructions, prescribed methods, and make minor decisions regarding setups, operations, and processes.
