Tate Americas in Pocahontas, Arkansas, is hiring an entry-level Assembler for light and heavy assembly in the Containment department. The role offers hands-on learning across equipment, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm on the 2nd shift.

You will assemble containment doors and partitions, inspect materials, complete quality paperwork, and follow safety and SOPs while contributing to a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs repetitively for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery within the Containment department.
• Assemble containment doors, partitions, and related products per specifications.
• Detect faulty materials and report findings to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately.
• Use tools and hand-jacks to move or store product or material.
• Uphold safety procedures and good housekeeping.
• Follow SOPs, JSAs, MOPs and company policies.

About the Role

The entry level Assembler, both light assembly and heavy assembly, is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to assemble parts in the Containment department at our Pocahontas, Arkansas facility. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the department.

Note: This position is for 2nd Shift. Hours are Monday - Friday 2pm-10:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Has working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the department.
• Assemblescontainment doors, partitions, and otherproducts per product specifications.
• Detects faulty materials used to assemble parts and reports findings to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Completes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
• Uses proper equipmentand hand-jacksto ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed by Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintains good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures.
• Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
• Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectations

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

• Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to lift up to25 lbs.repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift for light assembly.
• Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
