Tate Americas, based in Red Lion, PA, is seeking an entry-level Operator to operate and maintain machinery in the Understructure department. You will learn equipment across the Lamination area, position parts, monitor operations, and ensure quality standards are met.

You will complete production reporting, follow SOPs, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while contributing to product compliance and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to interface with a diverse workforce.
• Lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

Responsabilités

• Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established standards.
• Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards and maintain production standards.
• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
• Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to move product or material.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Follow all policies and work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Report quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to proper personnel.

About The Role

The entry level Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in the Understructure department. In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Understructure department.

What You’ll Do

• Learn and have working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Lamination department.
• Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established production standards.
• Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards. Notifies appropriate personnel of issues.
• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
• Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.
• Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectation

• Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
• Ability interface with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to use various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
