Job description

PAY: $14.82 - $17.97 Hourly + performance pay!

Examples of Work Performed as a Lift Truck Operator:

1. Pulling orders; packing and repacking
2. Loading merchandise for customers; unloading trucks; stocking merchandise using lift truck/tugger
3. Knowledge of lift truck procedures; responsible for maintaining excellent customer service
4. Responding to instructions from Control Booth regarding proper merchandise to pull
5. Keeping warehouse area clean; assisting other departments as needed
6. Transferring materials as needed; maintaining aisle assigned by manager
7. Properly storing merchandise; checking daily closing assignments and responsibilities
8. Performing any other duties as directed by management

Employment Standards:

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.; must pass lift truck licensing test (written and physical); must weigh less than 300 lbs. (OSHA requirement); effective communication skills; positive attitude with customers; knowledge of merchandise handling, safety, and employment procedures.

Physical Activity Requirements:

• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
• Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.
• Work Environment: Indoor, climate-controlled; tasks performed up to 45 feet in the air.
