Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Clearfield, Utah, is hiring experienced Lift Truck Operators to support a premier cold-storage logistics leader. Earn $20.00/hour plus shift differentials on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

Responsibilities include operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanning, precise picking and staging, and strict inventory control in a cold environment. Background checks are required and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience operating BOTH Sit-Down AND Stand-Up forklifts.
• Environment: fast-paced cold-storage warehouse environment with low temperatures and lifting.
• Fluent in spoken and written English for safety and team communication.
• Schedule: availability for Monday–Friday Swing or Graveyard shifts with potential overtime or weekend work.
• Pre-employment background and screening checks required.

• Pick, stage, and assemble customer orders with high precision using RF scanning technology.
• Inspect inbound/outbound freight for quality, labeling, and damage.

• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a clean, secure work environment.

Earn $20.00/hour plus additional shift differentials while working a reliable Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off!

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move, stack, load, and unload food products utilizing sit-down and stand-up forklifts, walk-behinds, and pallet jacks.
• Pick, stage, and assemble customer orders with high precision using RF scanning technology.
• Inspect inbound and outbound freight for quality, proper labeling, and damage.
• Maintain strict inventory control, adhering to FIFO practices and accurate scale weights.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a clean, secure working environment.

Working hours

• Monday through Friday
• Swing Shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
• Graveyard Shift: 11:00pm to 7:30am

Skills

• Hands-on experience with stand-up straddle trucks, double pallet jacks, and advanced RF scanners.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
• Previous experience navigating cold-storage or climate-controlled warehouse operations.

• Required Experience: Proven hands-on experience operating BOTH Sit-Down AND Stand-Up forklifts.
• Environment: This position operates in a fast-paced cold-storage warehouse environment. You must be comfortable working in low temperatures, standing for extended periods, wearing cold-weather safety PPE, and routinely performing physical lifting as required by the role.
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written English to ensure safety and clear team communication.
• Schedule: Must be available for Monday through Friday Swing or Graveyard shifts, with flexibility for mandatory overtime or weekend work as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment background and screening checks.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
