Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for our Bryan, TX warehouse. You will operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts to move, stage, load, and unload goods, while inspecting shipments and updating inventory using RF scanners and WMS.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years of forklift experience, OSHA certification (or ability to recertify), and pass background/drug screens. A strong emphasis on safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift operator certification (or ability to recertify on hire).
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and a physical endurance assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move goods safely within the warehouse.
• Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Pick, stage, and load outgoing customer orders per pick sheets and schedules.
• Stack and organize materials on pallets and shelving per storage guidelines.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and update the WMS.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace following safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join a warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, staging, loading, and unloading materials using powered industrial trucks. You will play a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring smooth supply chain operations, and upholding a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to transport goods safely throughout the warehouse.
• Unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Pick, stage, and load outgoing customer orders according to pick sheets and shipping schedules.
• Stack and organize materials on pallets, racks, and shelving systems in accordance with warehouse storage guidelines.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections on equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
• Utilize hand-held RF scanners to track inventory movements and update warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace by following all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Skills

• Prior experience with specialized warehouse equipment (e.g., order pickers, pallet jacks, clamp trucks).
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning devices (e.g., SAP, Oracle, HighJump).
• Demonstrated experience with inventory control processes and cycle counting.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1???2 years of experience operating powered industrial forklifts in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• Valid OSHA-compliant Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to re-certify upon hire).
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and basic physical endurance assessment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand, bend, or sit for extended periods.
• Strong spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and a strict adherence to safety procedures.
