Blue Diamond Growers is seeking a Lift Truck Driver 2 to operate a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires adhering to GMPs, safety procedures, and stacking products as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least 1 year of lift operation. The position may require standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and long shifts with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Forklift Certification.
• General knowledge of routine maintenance and operation of a forklift.
• Demonstrated ability to pass a high-stacking test.
• Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs.
• Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time.
• At least 1-year industrial lift operating experience.

Responsabilités

• Safely and efficiently operate a lift truck moving product from one location to another in a high pace environment.
• Pulling, staging, and loading product as directed by the department lead or team leader.
• Completes daily pre-shift inspection checklist for assigned lift truck.
• Sets up pull-back driver loads and loading/unloading trucks.
• Utilizes barcode scanning equipment while performing job duties.
• Assists team members in the event of product spillage.
• Keeps work area clean according to Good Manufacturing Practices and proper safety procedures, which can include sweeping, and picking up debris from warehouse floor.
• High-stacking is expected on a routine basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by manager, supervisor/team lead, or department lead.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Lift Truck Driver 2 operates a forklift and is responsible for the movement and high stacking of product as directed by supervising personnel. Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), policies, and safety procedures will be required in every aspect of this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. You may be required to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
