Job summary

Hadrian in Los Angeles seeks a Lift Specialist to stand up our rigging and lift workcenter, scope cranes, and create training while partnering with Build Engineering to define safe, repeatable lift processes for critical operations.

You will fabricate and modify tooling, work with engineering on tool design, and operate welding, water jet, laser tracking, mills and lathes to support complex builds. You will help scale the tooling function as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of tooling fabrication experience.
• Hands-on welding, water jet, laser tracking, mills/lathes, and assembly.
• Ability to work autonomously on program timelines.
• Collaborates with engineering on tool development and design.
• Strong troubleshooting and quick unblocking of programs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and modify tooling to support new product introductions.
• Collaborate with engineering to design new tools from scratch.
• Operate welding, water jet, laser tracking, mills, lathes, and general assembly equipment.
• Maintain and iterate tooling as designs evolve.
• Scale tooling processes as the team grows 3x in 6 months.
