Job summary

Four Hands, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is hiring a Night Shift Lift Operator to keep inventory moving through the warehouse from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Friday. You will operate a Raymond order picker, use RF scanners, unload shipments, and verify contents against purchase orders.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years forklift/order picker experience, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle items up to 225 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiar with WMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance.
• Steel-toed boots/shoes required.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse.
• Use RF scanners to pick, verify, and place inventory for order fulfillment and storage.
• Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against orders.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report malfunctions.
• Identify and manage inventory across orders, labels, manifests, and bills of lading.
• Follow SOPs and stay informed on process updates.
• Monitor and address inventory quality issues through routine checks.
• Meet productivity targets while efficiently managing resources.
• Report inventory discrepancies using ICAR process and document accordingly.

We are currently looking to hire a Night Shift Lift Operator to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of inventory in our warehouse, ensuring that our products move efficiently from arrival to delivery. Shift Time: 5:00PM - 2:00AM, Monday to Friday

In This Role

• Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
• Use RF scanners to pick, verify, and place inventory for order fulfillment and storage
• Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Identify and manage inventory across documentation, including orders, labels, manifests, and bills of lading
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and stay informed on process updates
• Monitor and address inventory quality issues through routine checks
• Meet productivity targets while efficiently managing resources
• Report inventory discrepancies using the ICAR process and ensure proper documentation
• Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

• 2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Excel
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
• Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed
