Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Homewood Mountain & Lake Club is seeking a Lift Operator to join the Lift & Gondola Operations Department. This role focuses on safe operation, loading, riding and unloading of lifts to deliver a safe, efficient guest experience.

You will work outdoors in all weather, respond to guests’ needs including children or guests with accessibility needs, and help maintain safety standards through vigilant procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lift loading and unloading procedures and established safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate chairlifts safely and ensure proper loading and unloading.
• Keep loading areas free of debris and set up mazes and signage as needed.
• Monitor signage and maintain safety and service standards.
• Assist guests, including children or guests with accessibility needs.
• Perform snow removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
