Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring for full-time Warehouse Material Handlers in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The role involves warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation, with a second shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm and a weekly pay cycle.

Employees handle Engine and HVAC parts using stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and safety-focused training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Flexible schedule and shift availability

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging; load/unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Adhere to performance guidelines and contract requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Second shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
