Job summary

KAG is seeking a forklift operator in Charleston, SC to move large tanks and containers and assist with loading and unloading in an outdoor environment. The role requires operating heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and working Monday through Friday 8am–4pm, with benefits and a comprehensive insurance package.

Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is required; experience with 15k empty lift and 60k heavy lift is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in material handling or forklift operation.
• Experience with operating 15k empty lift and 60k heavy lift preferred.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Basic understanding of mechanical valves.
• Must not fear enclosed spaces or heights.

Responsibilities

• Move large mobile tanks and containers by operating and driving heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded).
• Load and unload materials and assist with miscellaneous tasks to support terminal operations.
• Operate in outdoor conditions, comply with safety practices, and maintain equipment as required.

Job description

Shift:
- Monday through Friday from 8am - 4pm
Pay:
- $25-28/hour

This position will have primary responsibilities of moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility by operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.

Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.

Pay Range: 25.00-28.00 per_hour, General Benefits:

This is an outdoor position, and you will be required to work in all elements to include rain, heat, cold, etc.
