Job summary

Four Hands, headquartered in Austin, TX, is seeking a Lift Operator for our day shift warehouse. You’ll operate a Raymond order picker, use RF scanners, unload shipments, and help maintain inventory accuracy to keep orders moving smoothly.

This role requires 2+ years on an order picker forklift, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills (WMS, Excel), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle items up to 225 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance.
• Must wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse for safe and efficient material handling.
• Use RF scanners to pick and verify inventory items for order fulfillment.
• Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against PO or packing slips.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners with accuracy and organization.
• Identify and process items on paperwork including customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and BOLs.
• Follow SOPs to ensure inventory quality and stay updated on procedure changes.
• Conduct routine quality checks and address issues as needed.
• Meet productivity targets while managing resources effectively.
• Document inventory discrepancies using ICAR process and ensure accurate documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring a Lift Operator to support our day shift warehouse operations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory flow, ensuring that our products are handled with care and precision. Shift Time: 6AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday

In This Role

• Operate on a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
• Use RF scanners to accurately pick and verify inventory items for order fulfillment
• Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, and report any malfunctions or safety issues
• Safely place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners, maintaining organization and accuracy
• Identify and process items on various paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of ladings
• Follow SOPs to ensure inventory quality and stay updated on procedure changes
• Perform routine checks to identify and address quality issues
• Meet productivity targets while managing resources effectively
• Document and report inventory discrepancies using the internal corrective action reporting (ICAR) process and ensure accurate documentation
• Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
