Literati is a modern children's book company focused on building reading skills so kids can grow to be their best selves. We make it easy to find books kids love through school book fairs and book clubs using a unique mix of expert curation and data science. We're on a mission to help parents ignite a love of learning and a love of life.
The Lift Operator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time. Responsibilities include picking and packing fixtures, fulfilling orders, conducting cycle counts, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, replenishment, put-away, processing returns, and supporting inventory plans set by leadership. As part of the team bringing book fair magic to life, you'll help ensure products move safely and efficiently from our warehouse to customers. The rewards of the position are high visibility and a positive impact on literacy worldwide. Growth opportunities exist as we are a startup and anticipate robust growth in business year over year.
To be equitable to all Literatians, we have set compensation and a non-negotiation policy- we don't think a person's pay should be determined by how comfortable they negotiate. As a result, we like to be transparent and up-front about the compensation. When we make an offer, we can provide options so employees can choose between compensation packages, prioritizing salary or equity. The hourly rate for this role will be $17.50/hr.
