Job summary

Deer Valley Resort, part of Alterra, is seeking a Lift Maintenance Helper for Summer 2026 in Park City, Utah. The role supports Lift Maintenance technicians across a variety of tasks and projects on-site in a winter-season oriented ski town.

The position requires mechanical/electrical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely at heights and in adverse weather. Pay is $21.00/hour with staff perks.

Qualifications

• Prior ski lift and mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience preferred.
• Applicant must be dependable and possess a current driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be safety conscious and comfortable working at heights.
• Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift and position heavy components, approximately 50 lbs.
• Must be prepared to perform assigned tasks in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate ski lifts for scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Assist with grip and carrier maintenance.
• Paint lifts and clean terminals.
• Dig out and tar tower foundations.
• Other duties as assigned.
