Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Level II Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair within lodging properties and common areas.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, snow removal, and grounds care, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly wage of $24 and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have mid-level maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, and texture work.
• CPO certified for balanced pools and hot tub chemicals.
• Able to work on ladders, with power tools, and operate vehicles in various weather.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and landscaping in summer.
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and three-phase panels.
• Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings.
• Remove/install faucets, seals, drains, toilets, and auto flushers.
• Troubleshoot and repair drainage issues and water leaks.
• Woodworking on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors.
• Other duties as assigned

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

A Level II Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and doing repairs within the lodging properties and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and various texturing work
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and ground care in the winter and landscaping tasks in summer
• Troubleshoot, service, and repair pumps, condensers, motors, lighting, and three phase electrical panels and circuits
• Paint interiors and exteriors of buildings
• Remove/install faucets, seals, drain seals, toilets, and auto flushers
• Troubleshoot and repair drainage problems, water leaks, and lack of water
• Woodworking on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs, and doors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills and be able to effectively perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, woodwork, drywall, and various texturing
• CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals
• Able to work on ladders and scaffoldings, use power tools and equipment, and operate company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions
• Able to work with various chemicals, including pool chemicals, concrete sealers, and painting products
• Familiarity with OSHA PPE protocols preferred
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous work such as snow removal
• Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic hand tools required; specialty tools provided
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must have valid driver's license

Pay Rate

• $24.00 per hour
