Job summary

Vail Mountain seeks a Lift Experience Supervisor to oversee the safe operation of resort lifts and supervise the Lift Experience Team, ensuring courteous guest service and efficient operations.

The role requires 1–2 years of lift or mountain operations experience, English fluency, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather, with a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of lift or mountain operations experience
• Physically capable of assisting guests loading lifts; up to 40 lbs
• Fluent English communication
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather; flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of resort lifts, including scheduling staff and opening/closing procedures
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching operators and scanners
• Maintain safety by enforcing laws and policies and coordinating with ski patrol and maintenance
• Keep workstations clean and organized; handle guest questions and provide timely resolutions
• Support ticket scanning and other duties as assigned
