Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring for a Forklift Operator | Warehouse position in Bowling Green, KY. The role involves selecting orders, loading/unloading pallets, operating RF scanners and powered equipment, and maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work a Monday–Friday shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Pick full and partial case orders for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
• Perform quality control to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines by hand or equipment.
• Sort and build pallets to meet customer requirements.
• Operate machinery to apply shrink-wrap to pallets.
• Complete pre- and post-equipment checklists.
• Maintain storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and inventory tasks.
• Perform additional distribution tasks as needed based on business volume.

Job Duties for Forklift Operator | Warehouse Position:

• Pick full and partial case orders for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components
• Perform quality control to ensure transaction accuracy
• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines by hand or equipment
• Sort and build pallets to meet customer requirements
• Operate machinery to apply shrink-wrap to pallets
• Complete pre- and post-equipment checklists
• Maintain storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and inventory tasks
• Perform additional distribution tasks as needed based on business volume
• Use of RF scanner, forklift, electric pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Forklift Operator | Warehouse Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic experience with Windows applications and R/F scanners preferred
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility with deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service focused and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
