Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a forklift operator to move tanks and containers within the Chesapeake, VA facility. The role involves operating large heavy forklifts and the yard mule from Monday to Friday, 8a-5p, ensuring safe handling of materials.

Qualifications

• Must know how to operate empty lift, loaded lift and the yard mule.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial setting.
• Experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility.
• Operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items to support terminal operations.

Role Overview

Moving tanks and containers within the facility by driving a Large Heavy Duty Lift at our Chesapeake, VA Facility!

Shift/Hours: Monday- Friday 8a-5p

Pay Range: $20-$22/hr

Position Responsibilities

• Moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility
• Operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.
• Safety is a must.

Qualifications

• Must know how to drive an empty lift, loaded lift and the yard mule.
• Must have a minimum of one to 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, a yard mule.
• Experience in an industrial environment.
