Our Mission:

We support people to build capacity and reach meaningful outcomes through collaborative, therapeutic care. We deliver this through the provision of Allied Health, Youth Residential, Support Coordination, Lifestyle Support and Out of Home Care services across South East Queensland.

The role:

No two days are the same!

A typical day can involve:

  • Assisting clients across Warwick with their daily general activities, including personal care and meal preparation, while also facilitating community access and engagement in goal-oriented activities.
  • Implementing approved behaviour support strategies to address challenging behaviours and maintain communication with your team to ensure holistic care and progress towards individualised goals.
  • Prioritising the client's autonomy, dignity, and overall well-being, fostering a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their fullest potential.

Work Hours:

Well Life Services offer 24/7 care, with work hours based on a rostering system. These sifts can include:

Monday – Sunday 6am – 8pm

Short shifts that can range from 2-6 hours

Upon commencement, this role will be on a casual basis. The transition to a part-time contract will be considered upon successful completion of a three-month probationary period, successful client matches, and the availability of consistent work hours as determined by the business's requirements.

  • Willingness to learn and commitment to continuous personal development.
  • Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or Community Services or willingness to actively complete.
  • Working with Children Check (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
  • QLD Australian C Class Driver’s License with car insurance and registration.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain.
