Job summary

Sinclair is seeking a full-time correspondent/producer for the live local lifestyle program “Daytime” in the San Antonio market. The role emphasizes creating engaging segments from fresh ideas, with in-studio and on-location shoots.

The ideal candidate will have strong interviewing and writing skills (AP style), be detail-oriented, multitask effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while coaching guests and generating compelling editorial content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of on-air live experience on a Lifestyle Show or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years writing long and short-form packages, segments, reels, and other on-air or digital assignments.
• Flexibility to work afternoon shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live and taped interviews in the field.
• Generate editorial content, book guests, write and format segments for daily production.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to line up guest segments.
• Gather video and photos to produce digital content.
• Drive social media engagement with a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

KABB-TV has an immediate opening for a full-time correspondent/producer on our live local lifestyle program, “Daytime”. We are looking for an ambitious content creator who can take a fresh idea and mold it into an exciting and engaging television segment. This person will present segments both in studio and out covering the San Antonio market. If you’re a content creator with a passion for lifestyle and entertainment, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

• Conduct live and taped interviews and in the field
• Generate editorial content, book guests, write and format segments for daily production
• Work alongside sales/marketing consultants to line up guest segments
• Have great people skills with an emphasis on coaching and motivating our guests
• Gather supporting content in the field such as video & photos to produce digital content
• Drive social media engagement with a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Other responsibilities as directed by department head
