Lifestyle Services & Social Impact Associate

As a Lifestyle Services & Social Impact Associate, your work is vital in assisting the staff that nurtures and supports our players and staff with off-court responsibilities, including community engagement, lifestyle services, and events for players and families. This internship will contribute toward creating the optimal conditions for talent to thrive.

You will be part of the Lifestyle Services and Social Impact team within Basketball Operations during the 2024-25 NBA season. This is a part-time, remote position reporting to the Lifestyle Services Impact Coordinator.

In this role you will:

• Assist with Basketball Operations events and initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s degree in sports management or hospitality is preferred, or equivalent job experience
• General knowledge of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma City metro area
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven respect for confidentiality

This is a part-time, remote position reporting to the Lifestyle Services & Social Impact Coordinator. The work schedule may include working on short notice as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Total work hours will not exceed 29 hours per week.
