Job description

Method Co. is a boutique hospitality company that develops, designs, and operates a portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and apartment-style accommodations across the country. With a focus on culturally relevant and design-driven experiences, Method Co. creates spaces that blend thoughtful service, elevated design, and a deep sense of place.

ROOST Rainey brings a refined, residential hotel experience to the heart of Austin’s vibrant Rainey Street District. Thoughtfully designed studio, one‑, and two‑ bedroom apartments feature full kitchens, in‑unit laundry, curated furnishings, and warm, modern interiors that feel instantly livable. Guests can unwind at the rooftop pool, enjoy expansive city views, or settle into beautifully crafted communal spaces that blend comfort with understated luxury. With its walkable location, elevated amenities, and signature ROOST service, it’s an ideal home base for both short stays and extended visits.

The Lifestyle Concierge is the first and last impression of the property, serving as a welcoming host and trusted on‑site presence. This role supports guest arrivals and departures, maintains a polished and inviting environment, and assists with light operational and delivery needs. In addition, the Lifestyle Concierge helps ensure the safety and security of the property by monitoring access points, conducting routine rounds of the building and amenity spaces, and promptly addressing and reporting any safety or security concerns. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and takes pride in creating a seamless, secure, and elevated guest experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serves as the first point of contact for residents and guests, offering a warm, professional welcome and acting as an ambassador of the property and surrounding neighborhood.
  • Provides porter services including luggage assistance, guest escorting/rooming, package delivery, transportation arrangements, amenity requests and local recommendations.
  • Owns the Lobby, Daydreamer Café, Package Room and Amenity Spaces at all times by proactively monitoring activity and anticipating guest and resident needs.
  • Maintains exceptional presentation of all public spaces by regularly walking amenity areas to fluff pillows, straighten furniture, remove trash and cups, and ensure music, lighting, fireplaces, candles and water stations are set according to brand standards.
  • Supports building touchpoints such as water stations, coffee areas, package rooms, and delivery handling, ensuring all areas remain clean, organized, stocked and show‑ready.
  • Assists the Front Desk team during peak arrival and departure periods and provides operational support wherever needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinates closely with Housekeeping, Front Desk, Maintenance, and Management, maintaining open lines of communication via logbooks, email, and meetings to ensure all guest, resident, and operational needs are met.
  • Monitors outdoor pools and terrace areas for weather‑related impacts; secures cushions, closes umbrellas and address safety concerns as needed.
  • Assists in securing the property by monitoring access points and common areas.
  • Conducts routine rounds of the building, including corridors, amenity spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
  • Observes, addresses, and promptly reports any safety, security, or maintenance concerns.
  • Ensures a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, residents, and team members.
  • Coordinates with Management and Engineering on any incidents or irregularities.
  • Ensures immediate response and follow‑up to all guest and resident comments or concerns, escalating appropriately to management.
  • Upholds brand standards, service culture, and hospitality expectations while maintaining a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
