Job summary

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres, FL, part of Troon, seeks a Lifestyle Director to enrich the community’s vibrant, resort-style lifestyle. You will plan and manage events, coordinate budgets, and engage residents through social channels and newsletters to deliver high‑quality programs.

The ideal candidate has a degree in recreation/hospitality and at least 5 years coordinating activities, with strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in recreation, hospitality, sales or communication preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating and promoting recreational activities and programs, volunteer programs, and/or fundraising events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement programs, classes, and events for a healthy, active lifestyle.
• Develop and manage Activities budget and report to leadership.
• Serve as main contact for member events with scheduling, invites, RSVP and on-site oversight.
• Create volunteer programs by partnering with community groups and organizations.
• Host seminars and events to promote resident wellness and awareness.
• Distribute monthly newsletters, announcements, and calendars.
• Oversee member website/social media, track activity and gather feedback.
• Maintain membership records and measure participation metrics.
• Welcome new residents and assist sales with prospects.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
