Job summary

Lifespace Communities, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant for our Lombard, IL community. You will plan and lead activities, maintain resident records, and help organize trips and monthly calendars to enrich daily life.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of recreation or senior-care experience. We value teamwork, compassionate service, and clear communication to empower residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Experience in recreational activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and motivate residents to participate in daily planned activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident interaction and participation.
• Establish one-on-one relationships with residents.
• Assist the director in planning, coordinating, and implementing programs appropriate based on celebration or program topic.
• Assist in organizing resident group trips and outings
• Create and maintain the Monthly Event Calendar.
• Communicate programming information via various media methods to include weekly, monthly newsletter, in-house television channel, postings, mailing, electronic messaging, etc.
