Job summary

Vi at Aventura in Florida is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to support the Wellness programs for residents. You will help develop and execute activities, coordinate events, and assist with publishing the monthly calendar and resident newsletter.

The role requires good organizational and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and a High School Diploma or GED. Prior recreation/leisure experience with seniors is preferred, and the position includes day-one PTO and generous benefits.

Responsibilities

Lifestyle Assistant

A desirable opportunity exists for an individual to assist in the Lifestyle department in the development and execution of programs, activities and special events promoting whole person wellness for residents. You'll be involved in coordinating, facilitating and leading in-house group activities and assist with publishing the monthly activity calendar and monthly resident newsletter.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in the field of recreation and leisure activities for an active senior population is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
