Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Fridley, MN seeks a Lead Artist for its Life Spa to lead and coach the Life Spa team, manage inventory and scheduling, and drive financial success through commissions and incentive pay.

You will welcome guests, deliver top-tier technical services, and advance service and retail education across Life Time properties. A strong spa leadership background and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical spa experience.
• High School graduate or equivalent; professional licenses required.
• Strong presentation, technical ability and relationship building.

• Hosts a monthly Team Member Meeting & Weekly 1 to 1 meetings.

Job description

Position Summary The Lead Artist will be the example to all other technicians by providing best in class services in his/her technical domain to LifeSpa Members and Guests. They will hire and coach the LifeSpa team to ensure they are financially successful as well as own operational duties such as inventory, ordering, scheduling, and labor management.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform minor lifting
• Has strong professional presentation, technical ability and relationship building

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent

Years of Experience

• 5 or more years of technical experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Appropriate State/County/City Licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of Salon/Spa Leadership experience
• Hair technician preferred

Pay

This position will be paid commissions based on Team Member's Personal Productivity and will also be eligible for incentive pay based on department performance. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be the applicable minimum wage per hour.
