The Best Friends Animal Society is seeking a Lifesaving & Care Coordinator to support lifesaving programs, including adoptions and basic animal care across centers. You will model a welcoming culture and act with urgency to contribute to our no-kill mission, coordinating volunteers and daily tasks to ensure animal wellbeing and community engagement.

Responsibilities include adoption support, enrichment, and collaboration with other teams to optimize operations, while maintaining safe practices

Qualificações

• Experience leading teams and implementing programs preferred but not required.
• Customer-centric, non-judgmental approach to engaging adopters, partners, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.
• Ability to work with and handle cats and dogs, including those with health/behavior concerns.

Responsabilidades

• Promote, coordinate, and facilitate animal placements with adopters and foster networks.
• Deliver superior customer service to adopters, fosters, and transfer partners.
• Provide daily enrichment and training opportunities to improve animal wellbeing and reduce length of stay.
• Oversee dog playgroups and ensure safe handling practices and positive interactions.
• Maintain clean workspaces and animal housing areas and manage supplies inventory.
• Collaborate with departments to develop engaging content for social media and PR.
