Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking an Adjunct, lifePATH HRPO for LSC-Tomball. This part-time position teaches a variety of HRPO courses at different times and locations.

Responsibilities include creating engaging lessons, following syllabi, advising students, and evaluating progress. Applicants should hold an associate, bachelor’s or higher in business/HR with related experience and be able to work in a flexible, part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field with 18 graduate hours in business, management, administration, or human resources; and 3 years nonteaching work experience in HR.
• Commitment to teaching and supporting neurodivergent students.
• Ability to manage part-time teaching load across multiple sections and locations.

Responsibilities

• Teach lifePATH HRPO courses at various times/locations.
• Create engaging lessons and promote student involvement.
• Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Follow course syllabi and institutional guidelines.
• Advise students before/after class or by appointment.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and orientations.
