Position Information

Position Title: Lifelong Wellness Adjunct Instructor

Position Summary

Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:

Courses Taught

Instructor needed to teach the following Lifelong Wellness courses, with potential for other courses if qualified:

• LW 221W – Fitness and Wellness
• LW 222 – Science of Nutrition and Exercise

Instruction may be delivered face-to-face, hybrid, or online.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Fitness, Nutrition, or related field
• Minimum 2 years (4000 hours) of relevant work experience

Additional Considered Experiences

• Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Nutrition, or Athletic Training
• Group Fitness Instructor Certification
• Personal Trainer Certification
• Community college teaching experience
